The video quality doesn't look bad, but I really don't believe the whole "bomb proof" advertising.

Of course, if it's what you really need, go for it.

They are.
They also have a fisheye lens, which is sometimes annoying. They're also waterproof, though. I'd recommend buying it.

The camera is meant to be used underwater.
The lens helps with seeing underwater.

a camera much like this in quality is something i am looking for, (if there is any one out there that is cheap)
I will take any other suggestions, no, i dont mind settling for less.

there aren't many hd cameras that are cheap and don't have a fisheye lens.
I'm gonna get the videos from the kayaking trip to show you what the fisheye looks like.
