What have you downloaded recently?

I'm taking recently to refer to 'at the time this problem started'

Nothing that wasn't verified with numerous other people.
I used opera for quite a while untill I got sick of the slow loading and how I wasn't allowed to set it as default browser
so I went back to chrome and said problem

a program for multiplayer gameboy advance emulation over the internet
one hell of a lot of things from http://portableapps.com (a trustworthy website)
