Hehe - Oh, I smash the heck out of these things. They don't come through email quite as much, now that people are using social networks, the junk has migrated over there, and it's like, gah, why!??? The death-chains are the easiest to smash and are so laughable. I pwned the faceless bunch of Forward-or-die losers on my own site and direct people who actually get scared by these things to go there and see just how un-scary they really are. Other types of chain letters - heck, any and all virals annoy me, so they all get smashed. Who else just wants to scream whenever friends who never bother to write in ages, suddenly send a crappy forward that waxes on and on about what friendship is and how you or your friend could die before you get the chance to show them how you care? And the forwarding idea of "showing you care" isn't writing your own personal note, no! It is, wait for it, "Send this letter to all your friends!" Argh! Uh, no, thanks. And don't get me started on the sick kid hoaxes and religious exploitation fraudulent forwards out there. They seriously tick me off. I smash them too, but tend to be a lot more ranty and less laughy with them than with the death-chains.
