Odd lagging

Well I was testing out my Fraps and noticed something odd, after recording Left 4 Dead on my new computer I had purchased; I experienced no lag at all. But when I go to test Blockland it lags slightly, like twitchy I would say, any ideas?

blockland lags? or does just recording blockland with fraps lag?

some programs just function differnet when there are overlays and screen captures going on.
maybe blockland just dont wanna share resources as well as l4d does.
i would guess maybe the active memory on blockland remains on blockland lol

hm, it's weird because then other people can do it with no lag recording ;c
