Author Topic: Internet Browser Crashing  (Read 508 times)

It started when Internet explorer wouldn't respond, and wouldn't close.
No big, right?  Just go and open Fire Fox.
"FIRE FOX HAS STOPPED RESPONDING"
I tried closing it, and it wouldn't close.
I opened up Task Manager manager to end the prossece*Pardon Spelling*, and it wouldn't close.
I shut down the computer, and restarted it.  I opened Internet Explorer, and it immediatly says it Can't Respond, and closes it.  Same with Firefox.  The only way I can currently browse the internet is in safe mode.

What do.

Try a different browser, like SRWare Iron, which is Chrome but open source and more trustworthy than Chrome IMO.

If that doesn't work, run some virus scan or something with Malwarebytes, 'cuz who knows, a Rogue Antivirus might've tried to change something and failed.

Uninstall Firefox.

That's not a very constructive answer.

Oh, I'm sorry! I meant REINSTALL Firefox!

I think he gets what I mean.

I'm going to try SRWare Iron, and run a virus scan.

Install Google chrome.
You should shut up and stop trying to convert people to your piece of stuff web browser.
He's asking how to fix it, not what to replace it with.

EDIT: Then again he uses IE mainly, apparently... lol

I used it because I experienced problems with Firefox, and it wouldn't fix.  After about 2 months, it fixed and I was too lazy to go copy over my bookmarks, so I never went back.  Now is a good a time as any to convert.

I did a virus scan, nothing came up.  SRWare Iron works perfectly, however.  It runs quite fast for me, thanks.

Locking.
