Before you say anything about buying a new computer, I'm too poor. :c

Mine is custom built so I'll show you a close-up on the internals since I keep my case open because my fan is failing.

The wires are a clusterforget due to small case. I'm getting a new one really soon.

And my specs.
CPU: Pheneom II X4 (4 cores) 3.0Ghz OC to 3.2Ghz
RAM: 3GB DDR2 (Getting new soon.)
GPU: Radeon HD 4850 1GB
PSU: 700w

I can run Crysis 2 and GTA IV maxed out on this.

Crysis 2 isn't hard to max out really...

Use zipties to tie up your cables.  I did that for mine and airflow seems a bit nicer.

I can run Crysis 1 maxed out too, though. o:
And I can't really get those cables down any more. This is a really small case. It's skinny and not long. It's kinda stubby, so the drives make it impossible to keep those wires organized. :c
EDIT: and due to the failing CPU fan, I literally keep it on it's side with the covers off and a house fan sitting on top blowing down on it. And it still reaches 270F while gaming. If I don't have that fan, it will get to > 300F and shut itself down.

Holy stuff I think the PCs at school have better specs than that.

Holy stuff I think the PCs at school have better specs than that.

Our computers at school are the exact cases, but have quad core 3.1Ghz processors in them (Intel). Now, you might be thinking, "Wow, they must be fast," well let me tell you something. They have 256MB of RAM in them and have a million background Security and VNC stuff, so it's slower than a snail stuck in dog stuff.

that case is hot

and Steve, you need a Thermaltake case

Holy stuff I think the PCs at school have better specs than that.
My school has the same exact computers, except they have integrated stuff and 2.4 - 2.8GHz Pentium 4s. None of them are 2.0, I've checked.

My school either has Core 2 Duos or Athlon x2's.

I don't know what my school's computers have, because if people damn saw me running DXDiag they'd think some stuff was going down.

You can just right click "my computer" for CPU and RAM, and right click desktop and go into settings and under display resolution it'll say the GPU.

They don't let you do any of that.
The only thing you can do is use "My Documents," and go to sites your teacher says to.
