Monopoly is probably one of the most fun to event, considering the fairly large amount you have to do.
I experimented a while ago with movement around a board game. Given that dice in most games go up to 6 you must give each square on the board the teleport/movement events for every square within its range of 6, which is a huge amount considering diagonals. With monopoly it's less of a problem, because it's all straight.
Simply onplayertouch -> player -> changedatablock -> nomoveplayer (RTB avaliable addon) and then make sure the players stand on the squares and stop. Then, somehow roll dice to ascertain how far a single player moves and trigger that event. Naturally, for each player in the game, you'd have to have all the movement options duplicated by [# of players] because otherwise all players would move simultaneously.
It's complicated, anyone want a go =P.
Oh yeah, then there's housing (in 5 tiers for houses and hotels), money, community chest, chance, jail, bankrupting, the other facilities, stations (or whatever they are), rent, mortgages and winning.
EDIT:
All the movement events are optional really. It's just that they prevent cheating (unless admin who are SUPPOSED to be trusted) and make the game slightly more true-to-life.
