forget the iPad I'm getting a Samsung Tablet with Flash.

I actually agree in the sense that tablet computers are a better thing to put money towards in the same way that desktop computers are better to get than consoles, since they're more versatile and probably can even handle more resource-wise. Plus, they probably have much better specs too.

Just saying that anyone who says its an oversized iPod is wrong. The iPad 1 is the big iPod, the iPad two is significantly better and has focus on productivity this edition; its not comparable to an iPod anymore, sorry.

I think its a good product to buy assuming you don't use it as a computer placement. Far better then Android at the current time.

I would perfer an android phone over that anytime,knowing apple releases new devices every five or eight months heck maybe even every year or two.

He has, and the iPad 2 is more powerful.  The iWork apps are much easier to use presumably, internet browsing is way easier.  Let's put it this way, would you buy a monitor that's 800x600 or 1920x1080?
