Incessant TF2 crashing D:

So, trying to play some TF2, but the game keeps crashing. I've tried lowering settings, which I don't think was the issue since I played yesterday just fine. It first crashed when I opened my backpack from the main menu. Then it crashed when I attempted to join a game invite, then it crashed over and over when trying to just join a game after searching for one. It's getting annoying, and I'm running applejack right now to see if that cleans up the computer in a beneficial manner (using an iMac, btw).

Has anyone else run into this? If so, solutions? Suggestions? Also, right before I launched it tonight there was an update...not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it might have.

I'll keep you posted when applejack finishes.

Aren't Macs still in the glitchy phase for TF2? I wouldn't be surprised, especially with these recent updates.

My Mac was working fine, I think there were too many players or something.

Verify the game content, and if it still doesn't work, you'll have to re-download/re-install. :c
