Mortal Kombat (2011 reboot) is banned in australia outright. L4D2 had to have dismemberment edited out.
Dead Island had no edits made for it to get a MA15+ rating.

LOL REALLY. Wow, Left 4 Dead without dismemberment, that must suck.

well it dont do them any good anyways.

i can imagine the average gamer in Australia owns US and euro versions of consoles and their games.

It would seem dead island is more violent than L4D2.

Australia sucks anyways. We should engineer a virus to kill off all the kangaroo so the Australians will all starve to death.

That doesn't make sense

any game that allows children to horribly die is a great game on my book.
it takes balls to make real violence.

Yet they changed a bunch of other games that were just as gory?

I bet people are getting wiser down there.

well video games are a larger industry then nearly music and movies combined.
why shoot themselves in the foot? there is money to be made and they are gimping their retail selves.

not to mention the human and artistic rights being infringed on by religion.
they will catch up. people dont allow that crap in modern society.
