I'm just wondering, as to how you would do it, since there is no REAL gifting system. Is it even allowed?

I think you can gift you just have to pm or chat so he knows.

well, i don't see why not. you buy the key and insert someone else's e-mail address and then you don't use the key but the other person does? i'm pretty sure keysharing is only based on the playing not the buying.

I was thinking that the gifter registers the recipient's email.

Put the email for the key as your friend's email.
