Author Topic: Driver problem?  (Read 508 times)

Well I recently updated my drivers, and it seems like it forgeted everything up. I can't run any games, they always have a blank screen. What happened?

How?

Forgive me if I seem stupid.

Search for "System Restore" on your system, then go back to a point before you installed the driver updates.

I can't search, something's messed up with my computer search thing, is there any other way? :/

Hmm, now it's working again.

It didn't find anything.

Uninstall your current drivers through the "Add or remove" feature, then after that is done, Click Start>Run and type in 'dxdiag' without the quotes.
Post entire contents of Display tab.

Why do you need all of the display tab? why not just the drivers section?

I don't need the drivers part, but it makes it easier than specifying everything I need.
I need the name of your graphics chipset.

Before I clicked on this thread I thought it was about bad drivers.

Well, uninstalling my drivers and restarting my computer installed new drivers or something and now stuff is working fine, but in-case you can help me in any other way here's the dxdiag thing

Here are the latest drivers for your product. I presume that when you upgraded them before, you used the feature built in to windows. Don't. It's bad.
