He heard a whistle, and presuming it was the ref's whistle, he slowed down then took a pretend shot with no power. Watch the video and you'll hear a whistle just before he slows down and then look at his jestures towards the coach. He heard the whistle and presumed he was offside.

Seen this earlier, he thinks he is better than what he is. A couple of weeks ago he bought himself a new motorcycle and was told by the coach he isn't allowed to use it in case he injures himself on it.
