Here's one (theoretic) problem with muting and not knowing who's muted:

Dialogue Ahead!

Blockhead:"YOU SUCK ASDFASDF"
Blockhead gets hellbanned.
User One:"Hey! Blockhead stopped talking!"
User Two:"Do you think it that new 'hellban' add-on?"
User One:"Yea! He's been 'hellbanned'!"
