Torquescript and C++ are pretty damn close to each other.

any game engine is just preset elements and syntax. rdy to go. you wont be doing any core coding this way.

even java itself is an app/game engine. there is no java "code" its just java engine (syntax and elements) + (c,c++)

torque is the same way. you learn torque "script" that is just specific torue engine elements, and apply it to the C you know.
