Curiosity will premiere on Sunday with world-renowned astrophysicist and unapologetic Simpsons fan Stephen Hawking asking one of the biggest questions of all time.

Did God Create the Universe?

I'm a really big fan of SH documentaries, but I really hope it turns out to be good enough to cover up the possible stuffstorm caused by it.

It airs on discovery channel at 8 PT

I just really hope it isn't bad.

Do you have any links so we can read about it? Sounds pretty cool.

Lol I heard he was having a showdown with Einstein.

huh what
stepehen hawking already said god is a fairy tale. or was that someone else?

also, relevant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zn7-fVtT16k

I think this is a joke thing.

Sounds interesting I'm going to watch.

KING: Do you believe in God?

HAWKING: Yes, I do, if by God you mean the embodiment of the laws that govern the universe.

I believe God is a scientist who created the universe and just watches time. I don't think he does anything but that.

He has the most boring job of checking his watch all the time.

Stephen Hawking doesn't believe in god. Too bad I can't pick his brain in heaven.

But I did see this on science channel, and it looked pretty cool, although I doubt it'll top Morgan Freeman's show.

Deism woo.

Maybe the biggest: "Did God Create the Universe?"

Subsequent episodes will feature Robin Williams investigating drugs and their effects, Samuel L. Jackson pondering the end of the world, Brendan Fraser exploring Egypt, Morgan Freeman visiting a parallel universe, Michelle Rodriguez war-gaming how to defend an alien attack and Maggie Gyllenhaal thinking about why love is fun.
Vat. ._.

I also though I heard about a discovery channel simulcast with it, with all their networks showing it at once.

EDIT: Just had to post this when I saw it on the Science Channel website:

Big thoughts.
