so im using sony vegas pro 8 and i have no idea how to make the video smaller in size so im trying to upload it to youtube and...

if you upload directly from vegas, it normally cuts off a lot of time somehow

With some tweaking, I managed to get my files to 1/10th the size while retaining most of the quality.
