Author Topic: Saving .swf files.  (Read 657 times)

I'm trying  to save a .swf file, but I can't figure out how.
There's no "save as" in the rightclick menu.
I figure there's a program for it or something, but I don't know, really.

DownThemAll for firefox

Or just view page source if you can't

Find the direct .swf file and then go File > Save page as

DownThemAll for firefox
I use Chrome.
Find the direct .swf file and then go File > Save page as
If what you mean is to go to the URL of it sort of like you can with images, I have that down pat, but there's no file anywhere on that. So part of me thinks that's not what you mean.

DownloadHelper if you had Firefox. Not sure what would be a good Chrome counterpart, though.

If you have the path to the swf already, go to it and press the wrench and then click "save page as".

If you don't have the path to the swf already, use the developer tools (F12) to get it.

Open the Page Source (don't know if you can do this in chrome, you can in every other browser,) and look around for an .swf link.
