Great. My computer is refusing to install 3 updates, one is a vital driver update that makes my internet work. It just says unknown error. Anything I can do to prevent my mom from having to call Dell?

True. You wouldnt have to call Dell, but, would you have to if you SMASHED IT?

Don't trust Windows Update. If it's vital, take note of what the driver is for, and download the latest from the manufacturer website.

Agh, they told her to do a system restore, it failed, and now she is wiping the hard drive. Time to reinstall my 21 steam games. This gon be fun.

Useless tech support.
They should've asked what drivers were causing the problems and supplied them.
