Author Topic: On Humans and Timelords  (Read 740 times)

Well, I just have one question about the existence of Timelords.
Is it possible within the known lore of Doctor Who that Timelords were, in fact, future humans that went back in time and became known as Timelords?
In "a good man goes to war" they say that Timelords became who they are by being exposed to the Time Vortex over many generations. So is it not possible that they could be future humans that were long exposed to the Time Vortex and went back in time and lived on Gallifrey to become the oldest race in the universe?

Or does something in the old series go against this theory?

I think the only way you can watch it nowadays is if you buy the vhs.
Which they probably don't sell so you'd have to go to ebay.

I managed to watch the first 2 episodes, apparently the doctor didn't like humans before.

Makes me really want to watch them all.

Time travel will never be possible.

It's not possible, they can reform their bodies and all, humans can't.
Also they don't have to look like humans, they just do usually.

Watch the newest season.
What you're saying is falsified. THey gained that ability from prolonged exposure to the Time Vortex over many generations.

you can only watch the special episodes, like the three doctors and stuff from the old series. I want to watch it all.

VHS? Seriously? No. You can buy a good most of the episodes from the originals (and ALL of the new series) on DVD. I see tons of them at Barnes & Noble in the DVD section. You can also buy it from Amazon. Sometimes there are a few episodes on youtube too. Ebay = Not needed

Ontopic: The timelords were once mindless with their powers, doing all this pointless stuff to other races. Then they limited themselves to not interfering with other races. I think humans would have that trait perhaps if they became timelords.
