Author Topic: Hypercam wont record sound?  (Read 1049 times)

Im using hypercam 2 full version and every time I record something the sound wont appear. I've searched google numerous times but it keeps saying "go to recording devices, show all disabled and hidden ones and enable stereo mix". And I dont loving have it. I see no other help without mentioning enable stereo mix. I tried googling a download to stereo mix but i cant find any. It may seem stupid, but I just decided to try it.
Help?

Fraps gives me 1-2 fps. It just started doing that all of a sudden so I just got rid of it. I decided to try hypercam and it worked allright

Google "[sound card name here] stero mix"

Hypercam is kinda stuffty for recording games honestly.
I recorded a few, and the quality is always so.. bad.
And it gets glitchy with some games aswell.

Sometime last week I made a topic inquiring about Stereo Mix. If this goes over like that, you won't get any help. All I can tell you is that newer Windows 7 sound card drivers don't have Stereo Mix. The only way to get it would be to downgrade, but I myself don't trust doing that considering that the upgrades must have had more resaon than just removing that.

Sometimes it's labeled "what you hear" or something like that.

Waveout Mix or something. I don't have either. My computer is too up-to-date.

I had this same thing happen on my HP, I just re-installed it.
