Author Topic: I could get my learners permit in like a weeks time.  (Read 1416 times)

Why did I read this as TEACHER'S permit?

:O

14? Damn, I could be getting my permit in Arkansas now.

Anyway, drive the Durango, you feel more comfortable driving it according to you.
And 557HP Hemi? forget yeah.

Bump because I'm wondering why you'd need to do testing for a permit with any vehicle.

Id also like to point out whoevers idea it was to put over 500hp in a loving Durango is dumb, or the OP is incorrect. My dad has a Charger R/T with a 357hp Hemi. I recently got to move it, that stuff was epic.

Also I could have my license Thursday morning if I pass. Unfortunately since my dad doesn't seem real keen on looking I don't have my own car and since apparently "we don't have time" anything I find will be loving gone by the time we get around to it... ugh. Now I'm stuck doing it in his girlfriend's Monte Carlo.

The thing is a cross between a truck and SUV.

It needs to tow stuff bro.

And it's really, really fun to put in neutral and rev the engine.

My dad had a Ram 2500 and didn't even top 400hp. Maybe it was tuned.

I used to rev my dads truck because it had badass exhaust, that stuff was beast.

My step dad bought it for my mom.

He always likes cars with lots of horsepower.

Like his mustang of something like it has 600 some odd horsepower.

Anyways, my mom said that if I take good care of her car I get to keep it.

My friends might laugh at me when I'm 16, but I'll be laughing at them when they realize the thing has about 400 more horsepower than the average car nowadays.

For towing, its not the HP, it's the tourqe.
Like say:
My dad's F250 diesel truck has 400 HP but 650 ft lbs of tourqe.
It can haul out 18,000 pound trailer.

lol I have my license and my own car
