i think he is right because of his skills as a producer

I'm embarrassed for you.

Thats all a matter of opinion. Either way, Eksi isn't unquestionably right just because you like him.

You are a very strange person indeed. :o

The concept is to make it seems as if they were both the same building, yet reduce brick count to make filming more smooth.

But I thought he is talking about only background features. The background and foreground change depending where he is filming, he can't possibly cover every possible area of the city. I don't understand how this can work, it seems technically flawed.

this is a neat idea but i don't need it as my comp will shred any build.

yeah whyis the long distance build like crappy graphics??
but anyway its pretty neato

It is probably possible because I will build a simplified version of every building in the city, and be able to remove parts as needed. Very likely, most of the time I won't need this in the background, but by doing this I can do some shots of the city as a whole, or overlooking the city; some scenes could be on the top of towers, allowing the rest to be in the background rather than keeping the camera aimed toward the sky.

this is a neat idea but i don't need it as my comp will shred any build.
Well, potentially the entire city at once, with all details, would threaten surpassing the brick limit. I would also like to be able to have actors who might not be able to operate properly otherwise.

And of course, I don't know any of this for sure. I've never done anything on this sort of scale, and this could quite possibly turn out as another mostly unfinished project. Likely not, as it has much variety and usefulness for me.

this is really coool! your such a good video maker eksi i love your work!
sorry but i think he knows what hes doing more than you do! ive seen some of your vidoes too and their not as good as his
You don't even know IcyGamma then. Both are amazing video producers and both have their high ranks, Eksi's good at editing, Icy's good at storylines, but Im sure Icy knows editing as well as Eksi, you don't have to point it out like hes some idiot whose trying to pull Eksi down.
And some are not as good as his, okay nice opinion there, Eksi has his videos, Icy has his, both better then the other in different ways.
Goodness jump to conclusions like that on someone you barely know.
