6 songs that I would like you to listen to

Loosely inspired by Rave's thread from a while ago.

Basically these songs dip loosely into nu and alternative metal, and I doubt a lot of forumers know these songs considering they are different from the more popular styles of metal music. Try to at least listen for a minute to each song before turning it down. Oh yeah, this is still metal music, so if you are phobic of guitars or something, you might as well not listen at all.

• 1. Nonpoint - Mindtrip (Some rapped lyrics, I personally love the distorted chords. Similar to P.O.D.)
• 2. Nonpoint - The Wreckoning (Same as above, less distorted chords though)
• 3. Deftones - Root (Soft spoken and briefly heavy altering vocals, abstract yet artistic lyric structure, and a very catchy riff)
• 4. Deftones - You've Seen the Butcher (Slow, deep guitar, quiet vocals, hard to explain, just listen)
• 5. Blue Stahli - Anti You (Metal and electronic music cross over, similar to Celldweller if you are familiar with his work)
• 6. Godsmack - Awake (Probably the most popular on this list, still good for this list though in my opinion)

If you have any good suggestions similar to these songs which I may have forgotten, I'll add it on and give credit.

Well most of them are not exactly mainstream, most of them I found about from certain people.
