Dedicated Servers: How Do?

I started up a dedicated server! :D

But, one problem. Say I want to shut off my PC, what do I do to keep the server running?

If I put it in standby, will that affect it?

Anything that would cut off your connection to the Internet will break the server. So yes, if you put it into standby/shut off the computer it will be borked.


Get a dedicated computer for hosting.

Just remember that your computer is your computer. In other words, you're asking how you can shut down your server and keep your server running.
