Put it in the bank, you will make lots of money with the intrest. 1% of 3.5 mil is 35K. That's like getting an annual bonus that keeps increasing. You can't spend too much. IMO don't spend any until your first intrest, that way you maximize profit. Also, sorry about your grandma.
