Aren't you supposed to be the cheery optimistic guy around here?
Looking on the bright side of life and appreciating what blessings you have is incredibly important. But sorrow and pain are important as well. Life is a balance of things.
But generally yes, I guess so.
Nobody's suggesting you ignore problems mage. The point is that if you can solve a problem then you know exactly what to do and therefore you shouldn't worry and if you don't know then there isn't anything to worry about because you can't do anything anyway.
There are thousands of problems that can be solved and that have solutions (Redundant Redundancy), but that doesn't mean you can approach them on a simple whim. And just because we can do nothing about an issue doesn't mean we shouldn't worry over it or the outcomes it may bring. Granted, worry is perhaps a poor word to use in this matter....care would be better, me thinks. Issues don't just solve themselves and adversary doesn't just go away. It is in facing them and overcoming what issues we have that helps us grow and learn. Regardless, to me the diagram seemed to be oversimplifying a very broad topic. That isn't to say it holds no point whatsoever, though. It does have a very valid base concept and idealogy which, to an extent, I do agree with. I was simply observing that it doesn't necessarily apply to life in its entirety, though. But then I suppose that
is semantics and hardly worth carrying on about.
That, plus I was making a joke. Maybe I should have made that a bit clearer instead of just sounding condescending. I'll have to experiment with that and find a solution. :U
My apologies if I offended either of you, Valen or Wizzeh. 'Twasn't my intention should I have.
