Author Topic: Why are a lot of popular songs about false love?  (Read 829 times)

By popular, I mean, the ones that get into top 10 lists that just make you rip your ears out. Not what you consider popular.

A lot of songs I've been hearing on the Radio, and our Sirius Radio, have been about how much the guy loves the girl. The girl won't accpet him blah blah blah until the end. Seriously, the theme is so loving overused. Make something more original. This is even worse with child "singers". (anyone under 18 who sings). The producers and writers make every single loving song about how the teen loves some chick. Everyone who made it big in the musical world is being strangled by people who want to make money on how to falsely love someone. It's loving annoying. Make a song about Dinosaurs or something.

You'll find music is an excellent medium for venting one's feelings.

Yeees. Exactly.

Thanks to my brother I've learned about music that's more original. You might think it's annoying, but a stuff ton of people like it, a stuff ton of a people think it's annoying.

Here's kind of what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IgJ6dSaeqI

Sad thing is, a lot of people have song writers nowadays. They can't really vent their feelings on someone else's work.

I don't get what you mean by "false love" or "falsely loving", explain.

I write some songs, some talk about love, it's a great way to get rid of stress. The most difficult part is the composing, writing lyrics is easy :u

Why not? Some people can relate to it in many ways you wouldn't even believe.
