Incorrect. Thowing weapons don't need muzzles. People put muzzles on them but its a waist of space on the model. You don't need them in throwing weapons.
The muzzlepoint is where the projectiles appear, and the projectile, though exactly the same in appearance, uses a different model, and so the muzzlepoint is necessary.
