Love your new avatar Dem. :D
I was thinking.. why, it's the same?
Then I was like

GGGGGGGGFHFSDF

So is there no gravity in the middle?

It's not possible for anything to live in the middle. So I would assume that it does not matter.

So is there no gravity in the middle?
How are we supposed to know? We aren't world builders yet.

i know the halo story pretty well and from that knoledge i know that the rings arnt called rings but "halo" :)

No, you're wrong still.
Their called Instillation. but yes its called Halo. what
Halo CE's ring is called Instillation 04.
The map looks nice, but I want to see more of it, like does the map actually fit the ring skybox and everything.
And for people who doesn't know what Halo is, I'll teach some Halo history;

Halo is a creation made by the forerunners to kill of the infectionous creators called the Flood, Halo was meant to be a home for the forerunners, but also a weapon that can kill 'every living creator in the universe.'
More on the Halo CE Halo ring; http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Installation_04
I feel like a teacher when it comes to halo c:

For a second I thought this was just another idiot suggesting stuff from Halo.

For a second I thought this was just another idiot suggesting stuff from Halo.
Cause anything to do with Halo makes it stupid.
I also just noticed how large your ring skybox is.

The ring is much wider, and at the bottom is comes out, and at the top its very thin. if you fixed that, I would download this.

Could you make it less fat, would be wonderful.

How is it possible for people to live on a ring?
Centrifugal force.

Centrifugal force.

Or gravity plates, although natural forces are more efficient.
So yeah centrifugal force.

Tony is a flat earth believer.  :cookieMonster:

So is there no gravity in the middle?
Yes, there is gravity on the surface due to centripetal force.

Edit: i didn't even see the second page :\

A more sophisticated example of how people might live on a ring can be seen in Larry Niven's book, Ringworld, along with its three sequels.

I know it isn't great. I will do better renders when I have time but I can't change the fact that the textures look like puke.

hey, i have the real Halo background files from Halo: Combat Evolved which include planets and the ring background, and three time phases (day, dusk, night) of each if you want them for an official look. Ill send you one in a PM as a preview
