Author Topic: Need a good, cheap wireless adapter compatible with Linux (Ubuntu)  (Read 371 times)

Title says it all. I'm going to build a new PC soon and I don't have enough money for Windows 7 so I'm going to install Ubuntu on it. I'll use it until I can buy Windows 7. I don't really care if the adapter is USB or PCI or whatever, just as long as it's good and runs with Ubuntu.

I was hoping to get one off of newegg but that might work.
Is 54Mbps slow?

I get 24Mbps and it runs pretty fast.
