Well I re-wrote the first part to be better out of boredom and decided to atleast make an effort on making it a series. It's about 5 normal kids that have their worlds turned upside down by some scientists giving them powers by activating their power nodes. They then travel across the country in order to hide from the people the scientists sent out.
The plot is a make it up as I go type thing, but i have some stuff planned out already.

The idea seems a little original, with the "powers" related to colors. I do like the concept, and your use of wording is good. As long as you twist this idea you have into something unique, you'll do a great job. I like it so far.
