No, Dan isn't my name. It eventually became part of my fake internet name, Dan Adams.

Thought it was a translation of "awesome". Ironically, it's the name of a company in the same state I live in :o

My name came from a game of TF2. I was playing heavy and only using the shotgun. When a random medic came up and ubered me, I stood there and taunted. He then typed in the chat that I was a "doomcop". I presume he just mutilated the spelling of "dummkopf", but it stuck.

I was playing Starwars Battlefront 2 with my friend and he made 3 new accounts so we all had fresh stats. We ended up with Proog, Glank and Drond. He gave me Proog, my brother Drond and he was Glank, my name sort of stuck to me.

God that games is awesome.

Oh and I sometimes use Proogles because it sounds like Pringles which is oddly enough another name people call me in games.
