My dad's making me get the i5 despite the fact that an AMD Phenom X6 has more power.
Have not built it yet, but the video card has 2gb of RAM.

Woah way too much loving overkill.


ACTUAL RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231225 anything over 8 is mega overkill, and not needed. 6 gigs is plenty. Also six cores will just slow gaming down, they are for editing. 4 cores is all games use.
