Author Topic: Problems with RAZR v3  (Read 277 times)

So basically, i got this new phone off a friend, the Motorola RAZR v3. he didn't have the original charger, but i later found out that lots of other devices (like cameras, ect.) use the same socket as the phone. the one i used was off a camera, so it connected with a usb, so basically i should be able to charge  my phone while i transfer files through my pc. however, every rime i connect the phone, it says i need to update my driver for it, even though ive already got the latest one, and when i try to read the sd card inside the phone, the computer thinks it is a CD-rom, and every time i click on it, it says ' please insert CD'.
im using Windows XP

any help?

ask on the motorola forum (assuming it exists), no one here knows exactly what is wrong and you will get better responses there
