You can't make anymore then 128000 bricks due to some thing, prob. the bit, IE when there's more 64 bit things, we'll have higher brick counts

Uh, what? You can change the limit, it's a server pref.

My friend tried to see how many bricks he could make, and after changing prefs when starting a server, or through the console, it still wouldn't go any higher.

It IS changeable, but you still can't build anything with more bricks, it is not allowed in any way
