I had to make it thin to control around the eyes.

Constructive criticism is actually what I was looking for.

The white was an attempt to make it look yellow, the pumpkin ended up being too white underneath.

And yes, I see that it's rather rough looking. I didn't really plan this out too extensively.

Going back over it and smoothing the lines isn't a planning thing it's something you do in the carving process :P
