Author Topic: In Time: Movie  (Read 930 times)

Bumping this because I saw the movie and it was excellent. If you get the chance to see it, see it.

Time puns were as abundant as I'd hoped (gangsters threaten to "clean your clock", leeching your time until you "time out") and the whole thing kept me on the edge of my seat at every turn. The music was fantastic and fitting, and I never knew what was going to happen next.

I still don't get it. Why not have a baby with someone, and then you two can split the baby's time?

And then do that every for a few years or so and both parents will be clocking up 40 years each every 9 months.

Guys, I'm going to spoil the end.

When the baby is born, the timer reads 1 year. As soon as you turn 25, the timer starts. You cannot take time from an unstarted timer.

Near the start of the movie, a woman was holding her baby and said "look at all that time...it's a shame we can't use it yet, we've got bills to pay"

I think a lot of critiques just review movies harshly to gain respect sometimes. I disagree with them on many occasions.
