This may be a stupid question, but how do you get pictures directly into the post?

Without attachments.

I never really used the forums until recently. (Ironically, I've been in Blockland since 2009)

You need an image hosting site to upload your image too. There are a lot of free ones if you look around. Once you upload it to the image hosting site, you get the direct link to the image and put it in between these tags: [img]Linkhere[/img ]
