Help! I spilled hot wax on a Couch! Wat2Do

Hola, I has emergency. So, I put out a candle because I was leaving a room, and when I came back, I went to light it again. I tipped it slightly so I could light it, but It spilled hot wax on the couch I was standing over. I currently have ice over the wax so I can scrape it off, but I need a better solution. Any Help?

I will scrub the spot first, and wash on hot.

Just got a suggestion from parents. sandwich the spot between two paper towels and iron it off.
