I gave v9 .exe installer somewhere backed up. Works fine as long as I don't hit 'update'.

Oh wait. Now I know what he might have done. Even though each installer has an unique name they are all the same size. What if he just renames the latest Blockland installer when an update comes out and replaces the older ones. That way if some sites use outdated links pointing to those old installers, the links are still valid and clients get the latest version of the game.

That's exactly what he does, for that reason and because people can bypass the demo limits in v8.
