Author Topic: Schedule Quota caps at 10?  (Read 720 times)

while i was working on the traffic lights for my server, i hit the schedule quota limit... at 11 events.

a quick look through my prefs file in config/server revealed this:

Code: [Select]
$Pref::Server::Quota::Schedules = "10";

i can't change it in-game, for some reason. i'm pretty sure it's locked in place.

is this a bug, update, what

Start a Game > Advanced Config > Global Schedule Quota > ??? - 1000
Mine was set to 10 when I got V20, not sure why, but it probably should be fixed.

even when i did that, everyone ELSE on the server can use events without a hitch

on MY end, however, i get a toomanyevents error regardless of the amount of events a brick has

Did you change it manually through the .txt?

yes, then i went back and changed it in advanced options after that didn't work

yes, then i went back and changed it in advanced options after that didn't work

Hmmm.

Its Badspot's turn to reply.

alright, what REALLY seems to be happening is that whenever i first open up blockland and start hosting a server, the amount of events i can use immediately resets to 10 (or, sometimes, 0). if i host again, i can change it freely, but then people can't join.

in other words: forget!

Events...
Why not just use the traffic light script?

In console, try doing this while hosting and you encounter this issue:

$Pref::Server::Quota::Schedules = 1000;

why doesnt $Pref::Server::Quota::MaxVehicles = 500; work anymore fafsf

Events...
Why not just use the traffic light script?
Because some people like having fun when they do something, not just richarding around with a stuffty script when they can do it themselves ingame.

Events...
Why not just use the traffic light script?
because with events you can make them work like real traffic lights
I doubt OP was doing that but still, some stupid script is nothing compared to events
