Would that be compatible with an Intel Core i3 530? I'm not smart with compatibility.

I think that you should look at your motherboard first

How can I see which motherboard I have? I've checked dxdiag, and it doesn't seem to say anything.

Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. H55M-S2H (Socket 1156)

That's my motherboard.

I'm looking at a specific RAM chip (in OP).
I might go out and buy it later today, but I want to know if that specific type is compatible. :U

According to the motherboard, there are only 2 slots for RAM.

If you already have RAM, then you cannot use those two, but if you do not have any RAM, then you can. Source:

Yes. That RAM is compatible with your motherboard.

According to what you told us, this is your motherboard. If you click "specifications" you can see that it has support for up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, and it supports these frequencies: 2200+/1800/1600/1333/1066/800

The RAM you've chosen was 1600MHz, which is one of those frequencies. It's dual channel, and your motherboard also says it has dual channel support, so yes, it is compatible.
