Author Topic: Jenga Card Towers - Build skyscrapers in your living room!  (Read 3144 times)

SUMMARY ON WHAT THESE ARE:

Long long ago before I started playing Blockland, I was really really creative and thought out of the box.

I made custom Lego parts for a parking garage idea and things like that. I decided on something cool one day. I bought a simple generic Jenga-like game and thought, "Why not use playing cards and these blocks to create mini skyscrapers?"

And so be it. I made some cool things. I used almost all the blocks to make one infinite tower or a Sears Tower like tower.

HOW TO MAKE THESE:

Really all you need is one box of Jenga blocks and a deck of cards. You can basically make small skyscrapers or huge ones that require a stepladder (Never done that, but I really want to buy a stuff ton of blocks for that ;D.)

The result could be this:

That's just the beginning. I almost forgot about these until I made a quick trip to my grandparents' house and grabbed my bags of Jenga pieces and dominoes.

You can literally get these 2 things for probably under 12 bucks.

Jenga is $10*. A deck of cards is not even a dollar*.

*Info gathered through Google. I tried to give links but Badspot has some system where I cannot share the links.

It's a really cool thing to do if you are bored, and I'd recommend trying to build some. You can also use dominoes!

Feel free to discuss + Share your buildings if you tried!

That's a nice tower you have there, it'd be a shame if some happened to it sssssssssssssssssssss

More on topic, i don't have the patience for something like that.

If I had the amount of blocks needed and the space, the first thing I'd do is build a large minicity (lol oxymoron) and then pretend to be a giant monster and knock it all down.

Actually, I'm considering this if I have the free time.

*Realizes I have a Jenga set in my hall closet downstairs

Thank you Chuck!

Reminds me of the time when my sister and some kids at a homeschooling convention built a massive tower out of a few bags on Jenga blocks. We had to stand on a chair to keep building it.

Then it fell over.

i knocked it down with my sister and recorder it and played it in slo-mo 500 times man.

This almost makes it sound worth it.

It's worth it.

Me and my brother made one to the ceiling, but without cards.
We got a load of "jenga-ish" sticks because my dad is a librarian and took some calculation-helping things home from school, which basically was jenga sticks, only colored.

So anyway, built a tower to the ceiling, about two meters, then we punched it and got hurt from falling sticks but a good laughter was had. Good times. :)
