Author Topic: Better Animation software  (Read 593 times)

So, I've been using a program called Frames 4 by Tech4Learning. I have used that program for many things besides animation. Where do you think I make my decals? and I've made several avatars, Like the one I have now with it. The only problem is, I've been wanting to actually start animating for once, and I realize that Frames 4 only has 10FPS, and even when the animation resolution is set to 1280x740, the exported video looks super compressed. I'm now bugging you guys about what animation software you use, because I think it's time for an upgrade.

Current Options
Pencil Animation
Easy GIF Animator
Adobe Flash

Oh, and I already tried Scratch.

Hello Thar

I'd like some commotion.

"Easy GIF Animator"

It isn't free, and frames that are too big will often lag the program.  Just thought I'd post it.

Is this like Adobe flash?

Personally I would love to make all my avatars in this
http://www.pencil-animation.org/
I don't know if it can make avatars though but it's pretty much what I use for regular animating.

Prepare 4 Pagestretch.

I think it's pretty explanatory, but if you have questions I have no problem answering.

Did you even look at what was posted already?  Some of those have excellent quality.

Edit:  Aside from the one I posted.

Double Edit:  The one you posted has good quality.

I have Adobe Flash.
I hate it, but i have no artistic skill either
:P

GIMP.
Although if you want cartoon style animations then don't use this.

Looking at Adobe.com, I thought Flash Catalyst might be a good start. Yes? No?

I already have GIMP 2.2, I'm looking for cartoon styled animations. I'm not really looking for making interactive things, just animations.
