I was trying to unlock a rar file earlier, and i think i might have a virus.
It won't play any sound at all, and when i try to play a game/open an audiofile that uses sound, i get an error that it can't open it.
Scanning with avast now
damn you and your sharecash crap :(

Make sure to run a full scan, not just a quickie. Your soundcard may be corrupted, check the drivers.

Disconnect your computer from the network immediately and format drive C: before the virus eats your computer and steals all your mothers monies!!! Hurry!

I always scan downloaded rar, 7z, zip, etc. files with Malwarebytes. In fact, if I have to look up a file and find it randomly around the net, chances are I've scanned it before opening it in any way.

don't immediately jump to virus.
I' say restart your computer after a quick scan, and if that doesn't fix it...

Uh, aren't people wary of files downloaded on the internet anymore?
I always upload files to virustotal before opening them.

Usually any file from sharecash is a virus.
