Blockland's first apple tree and true pine tree!

Using my scientific skills I have created the first apple tree. Now Blockland has a large source apple supplies.

I'm still wondering why there is never a brick version of this.

Is it possible to have the brick be a certain color? (The apples are always red no matter what the tree color is)
