Does the GUI even come up? I know add ons that edit the wrench, if the GUI doesn't come up, maybe that's why.

saw the music datablocks. badspot i have ALL my music enabled (even the music that
comes with the game) 100% of the music is DLed (add-on pack/join server) and so when
i hit a music brick with the wrench all i get is none :/

Hosting your own server or joining someone elses?  Whoever is hosting controls what music is available.
