Author Topic: Asus Laptops, which to get?  (Read 805 times)

I much to lazy to build a computer and I would rather have a professionaly built one. I've been wandering around on  Newegg and I've been looking at a few laptops. Im not a heavy gamer and I usually only play games like Minecraft, League Of Legends, Terraria, RS, and occasionally Blockland. What I would really like to play is SWTOR and maybe some other games like Skyrim or possibly BF3. I usually only do casual gaming but if a cheep laptop can meet my needs and have the abillity to do things without freezing or crashing like a complete bitch I'll be fine.

My budget is around 600-700 dollars. I'm a fan of Asus laptops and have been for a while. I want a laptop and a laptop only. If someone would help me choose the best laptop for my needs I would be greately appreciated. Thanks for the help it is greately appreciated. -If I can find a laptop that is also at a bestbuy I can get 250$ off of it.

*Also what are some things I should think about while buying this laptop?

oh god dammit i didnt read the asus part sorry

Well, it's a tad outside your budget, but look into the X53S Series.  It's more of a rare model, but I have it and it's pretty beast.  The ultimate test: it can run CrCIA.

i have an asus, it's pretty good and about 600$ can't remember name though

i read as "acer" and i was going to scream at you because all of the acer laptops overheat

i have an acer :(

We have a thread for this exact purpose.
So you finally added laptop information, then?

Here, let me get the Asus I found. It might be 800$ though.
EDIT: Good news bad news.

Bad news,
The Asus laptop I had is actually 899$ and is out of stock.
