Wine. I've already explained that I have it installed for Blockland as well.

Wine doesn't have Trident so IE is basically just another Fx shell under it.

Actually 10.10 ran fine on one that I tried it with (for the record it was a cheapish IBM office computer).

I didn't, I copied like, 7 files and it was running.

No. I use a i7 2700K, not overclocked though.
16 GB ram
2x 500 Gb HDD, Raid 0
60 GB SSD for my Win7 Ultimate
Also a GTX 590 for neat graphix.

All in all with all extras that stuff cost me $3200.
But it just won't run ubuntu from a CD. What.
